Cada um dos pr\u00f3tons e n\u00eautrons s\u00e3o compostos por tr\u00eas quarks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bbc-19j92fr essoxwk0\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p class=\"bbc-hhl7in e1cc2ql70\" dir=\"ltr\">Part\u00edculas descobertas nos \u00faltimos continham configura\u00e7\u00f5es &#8220;ex\u00f3ticas&#8221; dos quarks: em vez de tr\u00eas, elas s\u00e3o formadas por quatro ou cinco quarks (tetraquarks e pentaquarks).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bbc-19j92fr essoxwk0\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p class=\"bbc-hhl7in e1cc2ql70\" dir=\"ltr\">Agora, os cientistas fizeram tr\u00eas novas descobertas: um pentaquark e dois tetraquarks nunca vistos antes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bbc-19j92fr essoxwk0\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p class=\"bbc-hhl7in e1cc2ql70\" dir=\"ltr\">A exist\u00eancia dessas part\u00edculas com configura\u00e7\u00e3o &#8220;diferente&#8221; foi verificada pelos cientistas do Grande Colisor de H\u00e1drons, o maior acelerador de part\u00edculas do mundo, que fica na Su\u00ed\u00e7a. O novo pentaquark libera part\u00edculas que nenhum dos outros produz ao se decompor.
